Yuragi

Low table
Client : Ligne roset, France

The Yuragi is reminiscent of a table with straight legs that sank into the ocean, its structure decomposed in the water over the years. The idea flashed into my mind when I was imaging the sinking table drifting slowly in the ocean.

Yuragi means fluctuation in Japanese. The Yuragi table appears as if it has been freed from gravity by the sway and seems to be unstable at the first glance, but actually the structure is firmly stable.

The Yuragi low table can provide living space amusement with its unstable-look and practicability with its stability.
